How I love bookshops, but I especially love independently owned ones.  Our Bookshop, in Saugerties, New York, is pictured above.  While I couldn’t find any information on the bookstore itself, I found out that Saugerties is “book capital of the Hudson Valley,” according to Richard Frisbie who operates Hope Farm Press & Bookshop, also in town. His bookshop specializes in books from the New York area.  How cute!  Just 1oo miles up the Hudson from New York City, this little literary town looks like a perfect weekend roadtrip for the summer.
