This creative space was bought by Michael M. Connery in Stonington, CT in 2001 where he took the remainder of an old airfield and converted the land into a vineyard and wine tasting room which seems to be used a lot for an event reception site. The airport is now where the reception site is held, the grassy strip where the landing once was. While I’m not sure it’s my taste, I can’t skirt around the fact that it is quite unique. Sorry for the small pictures on the bottom, but the interior of the converted airport gives off the feel of a barn because of the old wood. I approve of that, for sure.
