College Apartment

An old friend of mine transformed this apartment of hers.  You can see the ceiling changing colors with a fresh coat of paint, as it was dirty before.  The walls are now a clean white.  The most dramatic change is the kitchen.  Chalkboard paint on the cabinets is a great idea to personalize something.  After all, the decorative look can change several times without opening a jar of paint!  Her mom, Terri, poses with the magic wand, as if the transforming was just that easy.  I’m betting it wasn’t, but here’s to believing in magic wands that magically fix everything!

Her tagline for the album was, “[Well], if we were ever on a home makeover show we would win.”  That sounds, and looks, about right.
